Biathlon

 Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about the Biathlon. Enjoy?. 

Yesterday Hornby Primary School had the biathlon. I couldn't do the biathlon because I had a bad and sore ankle and I was really sad. So when I couldn't do it I cheers people on and I could help people if they wanted me to help. Also it was fun and hot and I really like the biathlon.

Buddy class part 2

Today 22/2/2019 we had buddy class part 2. For buddy's class we had to go to the hall again. When we got there. There was some items on the stage that we had to have because we were doing another activity.

We couldn't do it by ours self. We had to go into groups of 4 again but my buddy wasn't here because she was sick so I just went in to Neaveh's and her buddy group.

The activity we were doing is making a track. The items that we had was long ruler, 2 pieces of paper, 3 pieces of napkins, 1 scissors, one paper clip, 6 blue straws, tape, 1 ping pong ball, one plastic cup, and one plastic bracelet. 

Then we got started Miss Frost said we had 20 minutes to build ours tracks. So when we were building the track it was  really frustrating to build the track because I didn't know what to do and it was not going really will. When Neveah and her buddy and I was doing the tracks it took us so long to get it right. After Miss Frost said we had one mins left ours tracks fall down again and then we had to restart again because it was just falling down. After we only had 5 second left and we finished it and we were so proud of ours self

100 Recount Writing's

Hello again welcome back to my blog again last week we were working on ours 100 recount writing hope you guys enjoy

Teddy Bears 

One day I woke up in this scary city. I had my teddy beside me but when I looked over it wasn't there I was so scared. So I tried to walk around but I was just to squished because there were just so many people around. I didn't know what to do I just sat up and looked around. I saw a teddy bears and it look like mine I was so happy. I was trying my best to get it but I couldn't So my teddy bears was gone. I felt so said because I had that for ages. 




                                                                   Sharp vinegar

One day my mum wanted vinegar and she said

“ Hey Michaela could you get me some vinegar”    I said

“ fine mum ok”

When I was at the shop I didn’t know what vinegar she wanted so I got a random one. When I got back she said to me

“ Is that the right one” and I said

“ I don’t know you didn’t say what one you would like”

So she try it and she said to me

“ it taste like a sharp vinegar taste this one is so disgusting” I said

I’m sorry mum you didn’t tell me what one.

  

Room 7 Groups Art Project

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I'm going to talk about Room 7 group art project. I hope you guys enjoy reading this blog post. 


                                                               Introduction 
Last week we done some art. The reason why we did it because we wanted to show yous our group skills. We had to go into groups of four or five. When we got into groups of four or five we had to sit down with our group and just wait.


                         Find ours buddies and plan with buddies 
In my group there was Jasmine, Neveah, Lydia, Sophia, and me. Miss Scott let us choose what copy we wanted Miss Scott copy said Room Seven Hornby Primary and if we did ours own copy it will just be hard to do. When we were all was choosing we all wanted Miss Scott copy. 


                                Deciding if using template and own and deciding on colors 
When we were sorted. We had to plan what we were doing on the paper the people in my group said to me 
"Hey Michaela could you do the big letters black" 
and I said 
"Okay sure then you guy can do the back ground all colorful" 
So we were all good about the choose so we were all sorted. 

                                                                        Patterns 

When we were choosing we had to put patterns on it so we all wanted polka dots on it. We all thought it would look really nice on the paper. I was happy because I got to have a choose where I wanted the potter dot and people all agreed were I wanted it and I said 
" Hey guys could we put the potter dot on the big black letters
and they said. 
" Yeah Michaela of course Michaela 
So I was so happy about that. 

        Personal best

While I was painting I was trying and aiming for my personal best of painting but it was just so frustrated because I wasn't doing it right. So I wanted a little break. After the little break I was all calm and relax so I went back and started painting again. 

Laminating and putting it on the wall

I few's day later we finished our art projects and I was so happy that we finished it. Miss Scott said 

" When you guys are finished I will laminating it and then I will put it on the wall.

When everybody finished and when Miss Scott finished laminating. She putted it on the wall and it look really nice on it.  

Conclusion: I really like the way that we work together for this art project

Buddy class

Hello welcome back to my blog for 2019 and today I am going to talk about 

buddy class.

On Friday R7 and R1 had buddy class together. We had to go in the hall because it was a messy actively. The activity we were doing is a marshmallow tower. We got small marshmallows and big ones as well. Also we got some raw spaghetti sticks. We got 20 mins to build our tower. My buddy was Sophia and when we had to build the tower we had to work with another groups and they were Neveah and her buddy.

When we were building it showing us to do team work with each other. When the Miss Scott measured it she told us the winner and it was Ahyan and his buddy and the highest was 50cm.  The winners could get a prize from the goody box. The teacher said if there were anymore marshmallows left we could have some and there was enough marshmallows for the whole class and it was a fun time. 

About my Holidays

Today I am going to tell you my recount what I do in the holiday. We have been working on recount 

here is my recount about my holidays

Invercargill

In the holidays my oldest sister Keyana and I went to Invercargill. On September 29th  we had
to wake up at 6:30 am because our flight was so early. Keyana and I went on the airplane to
Invercargill. After that when the plane landed Keyana and I hopped off the airplane. My family
down in Invercargill  were just waiting for us. When we were going to Grandad and Nana’s
house we got McDonalds for breakfast because we didn’t have any breakfast. A few minutes
later I was so full after McDonalds but it was delicious.  

Gators camp

In the holidays I went to gators camp. Gators camp is like a basketball camp, it shows you
heaps of new basketball skills. I went to gators camp for 3 days Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday the gators camp started at 12:30-3:30pm. Miss Scott signed me up to go to gators
camp. At gators camp I saw two Hornby Primary School kids there. When I got back home I was
hot and sweaty and sore after gators camp but it was so fun

Swimming

In the holidays I went to the pool with my family on Thursday evening. After when we were swimming in the pool we had fish and chip for lunch. A few minutes later when I had fish and chip I had to wait for a few minutes because I ated. When it was time to go back home I was so so tired after that big swim so when I came back for swimming I had to go in the shower because I smelled like chlorine after the shower.I had to go to bed because it was so late.
