Painting a Picture in the reader's head

WALT use our senses in our writing to paint a picture in the reader's head.

Here is an example of my writing. Can you imagine the scene in your head?

When I woke up I was in a scary, dark jungle. I was so scared because I was alone in the jungle. So I started walking and then a snake just came out of nowhere. I heard a scary noise. It was just the leaves rustling that scared me so much. I thought it was another snake that would come towards me and hurt me. I kept on walking and walking and walking. When I stop walking  I smell a really yucky smell. I was trying to get the smell away by running but it was everywhere. The smell smelled like rotten leaves and fresh air. I said to myself I ”I don’t feel safe in this spooky, dark jungle!” I wanted to run for my life.
