End of Canterbury Swim School

Today it our last week at Canterbury Swim School because we only had 2 week at wonderful awesome Canterbury Swim School. Today we had to wear clothes any clothes what we want to wear but we wasn't allowed to wear jeans because jeans are so bad to wear in the in the water because we had to take ours T-shirt off and pants or short off in the water and it would be so hard to get the jean off in the water .But we didn't just had to wear clothes we had to wear togs underneath ours clothes as well. At first what we had to do is to hop in the water and then we had to get a water noddle second we had to pulled the person out who is drowning in the water when we had to pulled the person out of the water we had to be on 1 knee and pulled and the person in the water had to kicked in the water and pulled as will next we went to the deep end because we was in the Shallow at the deep end we had to take are clothes off. Ours goals is to on the high thing we had to cross are arms and step and fall in the water.

Canterbury Swim School

On Monday it was my first day going to wonderful  Canterbury Swim School. We are going to do swimming lesson. We will be swimming for 2 week and then we will be swimming in are swimming pool. My swimming teacher at Canterbury Swim School is Matthew he has been my swimming teacher for one year now today in the pool my group were doing freestyle and tumble turns. I think I done a good job today at swimming. Are goal at Canterbury swim school   was to learn how to do freestyle and kicking. For tumble turn my group at to do freestyle then touch the medal and then we have to flip over and push off on the medal part and then we have to go at the back of the line. 

Maori Words!

This Term my group is learning about Maori words. Our group is reading a book called Mossie. Here is a video of my Maori DLO hope you enjoy. 

Marble day

The past term my class has been trying to get marble day. Marble day is to try to get 100 marble how we got 100 marble is we been listening how been talking siting up nicely and that why we are doing slime for marble day. 

How to make slime is? 

1. Mix water and Borax

2. Pour all of the pva glue in the blow

3. One cup of shaving foam in the blow

4. One cup of foaming hand soap  

5. Mix

6. One tablespoon of cornstarch

7. Mix again

8. Some body lotion or hand lotion

9. Put some colour if you want some colour

10. Get the the borax and the water get a teaspoon and pour it in

11. Mix very will

12. Then you made slime Listening

Extravaganza Just happend

Hi. In class we have been practicing our dance with our song. It is called "Outlook for Thursday" by DD Smash with Dave Dobbyn. This song was made in 1983 and we did a performance last night at Hornby high school Auditorium and we also have another performance tonight at 6:00 p.m. 

I was feeling very nervous before I went on stage but once I started to dance I felt happy and really enjoyed it. Later I sang and danced with all of the class to "Why Does Love do this To Me" by The Dance Exponents. Afterwards I felt very tired and proud of myself.

For the birds

Once upon a time there was 6 little blue bird called Michaela, sam, alexis, addyson, bella and Hannah and all of the little blue bird was fighting on the rope and when all the little blue bird turn there head around they saw a big bird and the big bird wave to them and all of the little bird was super confused. Then the little blue bird done a funny face to the other little bird and the two little bird was laughing then there were starting 4 little bird  laughing and doing the funny face’s the 4 little blue bird was looking at the big bird and the 4 bird was angry and the bird was walking away from the big bird.

The little blue bird was talking about the big bird then the big bird came and sit by them on the rope and like all of the little blue bird was super super mad the big bird was too heavy for the rope so all of the bird was leaning on each other so the two bird hurt the big bird and the big bird was hanging upside down and the big bird couldn’t hold on so the big bird falling off of the rope and the little bird was scared and the little bird was hurting the big bird again with them beak and then the big bird fall off the rope and the big bird fall on his face. There were heaps of Feather. And on of the little bird had no feather and all of the rest of the little blue bird they had no feather at all

Ormie

Once upon a time there was a piggy called Ormie he is so hungry all the time he wouldn’t stop eating he mother alway say to Ormie

“stop eating or you're going to get a big tummy soon. So stop eating”

so he said in his own mind

“Ormie mum can’t stop him from eating”

So he walk to the kitchen and he look in the fridge and there was nothing in the fridge to eat so he look on top of the fridge and there was cookies. On top of the fridge and he was trying to get some stuff where you can get the cookie he was just grabbing random stuff to get the cookie to get them Ormie said something in his mind again he said I won’t eat anymore my last thing to eat is just only eat cookie I just want to get 1 or 2 cookie.Ormie look like pink skin he has black eye like his own mother and he has a big nose and a big tummy he has a funny personality.  

First thing he was trying to get the cookie was a brome the brome didn’t work because the cookie jar was move back with the brome so I thought of something else instead so I got a stall and I jump super high as I could but it didn’t work  I got some book that I read but I  stack my book up and then I got I Surfboard and then I got a  Bowling ball and then Ormie got hurt very badly.

Ormie had an idea to make stairs so that what Ormie did. He grabbed all the boxes he could find. He stacked the boxes up to the cookies so he could eat one. Then Ormie got to the top of the boxes and he heard a weird noise he thought it was something and the house. But it was actually the boxes then he fall down on the floor.

Ormie had another idea to use trampoline to bounce him up to the cookies. He grabbed the trampoline and was getting ready to jump high  and when Ormie jump and try to get the cookies he made a big hole in the middle of the trampoline so he try something else instand so I use the tollit thing what you have to clean out the tollit Ormie was climbing up the fridge and when Ormie was climbing up the fridge and the cleaning thing was Stuck to the fridge and Ormie couldn’t move anymore  Ormie was polling and polling then Ormie jump off the fridge and the plungers went on Ormie head and back.

So then he use a train swords and Ormie cut around the fridge and then the fridge fall down and then Ormie jump down and then he saw the fridge and the cookie was still on top of the fridge and then Ormie was shaking the fridge and there was cookies fall on the ground and Ormie was going to eat a cookie then the jar fall on Ormie head so he couldn’t one cookie
