Silent Creative Writing

Kia Ora welcome back to my first post for 2020.

In class we had to do silent creative writing. We all got a picture and it had six pictures on there. We could choose how many story we could write I only did this one and it was a castle. Here is my writing hope you enjoy reading it.

Once upon a time there was a haunted castle. It was so high on rocks that you couldn't even get up there. There was a scary looking old man who just sits down on his butt and pats his cat for most of the day. He doesn't even clean up after himself. It was so dirty that there was heaps of spider webs and bugs where ever you go. The only food he only eats is mouldy bread with furry jam on top.

Two weeks later there was a young man came up to the castle. When the old looking mad saw him he was so surprised. He thought that nobody could come up to the castle because it was so high up on rocks. When the young man went in the house he had to cover his nose because it was so smelly that you could lose your sense of smell.

When the young man came in the castle he started to clean up straight away. There were also heaps of cleaner's that appeared up and started to clean as well. When the old man was sitting on his chair patting his cat something came in his head. He just remembered that was his long lost son his name was Alex.

So when Alex was shining some of the old man's photo he dropped the photo and it broke in shredded into little pieces and he went to the man and he said did I finally found you...

THE END

  1. Bonjour Michaela :)

I like the way how in the beggining you explained what your task was and what picture you chose out of the 6. "It was so dirty that there was heaps of spider webs and bugs where ever you go", the detail in that sentence is really good. But to improve more for next time, add even more detail, like how the man got there.
