Color Your Day

Kia Ora on Friday 22/3/19 we had color your day here is my writing and pictures hope you guys enjoy.


On Friday we could wear mufti clothes. We had to bring 1 dollar coin for the donation. At school all of the teachers was wearing a head scarf for the Muslims who pass away on Friday. In the afternoon we went to Hornby High School and ours whole school went into a O for Aroha  and we all fitted.

Ours Pestle Art

W.A.L.T Kia ora and welcome to my blog again we have done a different kinda of art so here it is hope you like it.


For our art project we had to get a blank piece of white paper and then Miss Scott wanted the class to draw 20 different kinds of shapes. When you finished doing all of the shapes you had to show it to the teacher. When you check your art you had to get a black vivid and draw on the outline. After when you done that you had to go and get pestle and you had to color in the shapes.

 I was trying my personal best so hope you like it. Here is the finished project we have done.

Fabulous Face Art

W.A.L.T Kia ora welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about our Fabulous Face Art. Hope you guys enjoy.

In our classroom we have been working on another art project and the art project was called Face Art. First Miss Scott had to take everybody photos and we had to face side way. Miss Scott print out our picture and she wanted all of us to go to the window flip the paper over draw at the back of it. Then we had to choose the color our group wanted and we wanted yellow and everybody was fine with the color.

The next day the paper dried and then Miss Scott put the art on a long pieces of black paper and then she put the art on the wall where all of the other art was. It look really cool with the other art on the wall. Here is our finally project hope you like it.

W.A.L.T Kia ora again how are you today and today our class room is still doing 100 Recount Writing. We had to do week 5 and 6 but this 100 Recount Writing is week 5 here is my week 5 writing hope you guys enjoy reading this.

One day I was playing with my sisters and for some reason my mum called me over. 

" Yes mum what do you want" and she said 

" There is a sinking boat and there is a red ladder falling out and heaps of coin" I said 

" Yeah mum I can see and there is a person and oh mum there a pavement there so he can go on. Can we help him please" she said 

" No it is to far away" I said 

" Oh okay then can I go back now" she said 

" Sorry for not helping that men okay"

Ours last touch rugby games

Kia ora again today I am talking about ours last touch rugby game hope you guys enjoy.

On Monday 11/3/2019 we had ours last touch rugby game for the term. There is two team that played the first team is called Hornby Primary and the other team is called Hornby blue. The Hornby Primary vs MGS Giants and the Hornby Blue vs Avonhead White. When it was ours last game we just had fun because our last game didn't really care. At the touch games there was a lollies scramble and when everybody finished there game we all got free sausage sizzle. But it was fun and Delicious.

Calming strategies

Kia ora again welcome back to my blog. In our class room we have been working on calming strategies. So if  you get really angry at school or at home here it some calming strategies we have been learning in the class.     

Rainbow breathing
Dragon breathing
Finger breathing
Asking a adult or a teacher to get a drink of water
Calming music
Counting in your head
Imagining your squeezing the lemon then when you finished with them you throw them as hard as you can then your anger gets away.

Triangles Art Project

Hello welcome back to my blog we have done another art projects so here it is.

A few's day we have been working on our triangles art. We had to go into groups of four or five. When we were all ready we got color and papers of are own. The color that we use was green, yellow, red, and blue, and we mixes them all together on the paper and when we were finished it look so nice when it was mixes in together. When we were finished we had to let it draw and then we will cut and draw the triangles out the next day.

So the next day when all of the papers were all dry we got to the stage to draw and to cut the triangles. When we finished cutting and drawing them out Miss Scott give all of the groups a big black paper to put the triangles on and when we all finished she put it on the wall and it look really nice with the other art we made.

Free times in the pool

Hello again welcome back to my blog and I am going to talk about Room 7 finished the puzzled and having free times in the pool.

Two days ago on Wednesday Room 7 had free time in the pool. We had to finished ours class puzzled before having 10 minutes free time. Every time if the puzzled got finished we had 10 minutes free time. There is 3 types of puzzled's to completed anytime.

Biathlon

 Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about the Biathlon. Enjoy?. 

Yesterday Hornby Primary School had the biathlon. I couldn't do the biathlon because I had a bad and sore ankle and I was really sad. So when I couldn't do it I cheers people on and I could help people if they wanted me to help. Also it was fun and hot and I really like the biathlon.

Buddy class part 2

Today 22/2/2019 we had buddy class part 2. For buddy's class we had to go to the hall again. When we got there. There was some items on the stage that we had to have because we were doing another activity.

We couldn't do it by ours self. We had to go into groups of 4 again but my buddy wasn't here because she was sick so I just went in to Neaveh's and her buddy group.

The activity we were doing is making a track. The items that we had was long ruler, 2 pieces of paper, 3 pieces of napkins, 1 scissors, one paper clip, 6 blue straws, tape, 1 ping pong ball, one plastic cup, and one plastic bracelet. 

Then we got started Miss Frost said we had 20 minutes to build ours tracks. So when we were building the track it was  really frustrating to build the track because I didn't know what to do and it was not going really will. When Neveah and her buddy and I was doing the tracks it took us so long to get it right. After Miss Frost said we had one mins left ours tracks fall down again and then we had to restart again because it was just falling down. After we only had 5 second left and we finished it and we were so proud of ours self

100 Recount Writing's

Hello again welcome back to my blog again last week we were working on ours 100 recount writing hope you guys enjoy

Teddy Bears 

One day I woke up in this scary city. I had my teddy beside me but when I looked over it wasn't there I was so scared. So I tried to walk around but I was just to squished because there were just so many people around. I didn't know what to do I just sat up and looked around. I saw a teddy bears and it look like mine I was so happy. I was trying my best to get it but I couldn't So my teddy bears was gone. I felt so said because I had that for ages. 




                                                                   Sharp vinegar

One day my mum wanted vinegar and she said

“ Hey Michaela could you get me some vinegar”    I said

“ fine mum ok”

When I was at the shop I didn’t know what vinegar she wanted so I got a random one. When I got back she said to me

“ Is that the right one” and I said

“ I don’t know you didn’t say what one you would like”

So she try it and she said to me

“ it taste like a sharp vinegar taste this one is so disgusting” I said

I’m sorry mum you didn’t tell me what one.

  

Room 7 Groups Art Project

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today I'm going to talk about Room 7 group art project. I hope you guys enjoy reading this blog post. 


                                                               Introduction 
Last week we done some art. The reason why we did it because we wanted to show yous our group skills. We had to go into groups of four or five. When we got into groups of four or five we had to sit down with our group and just wait.


                         Find ours buddies and plan with buddies 
In my group there was Jasmine, Neveah, Lydia, Sophia, and me. Miss Scott let us choose what copy we wanted Miss Scott copy said Room Seven Hornby Primary and if we did ours own copy it will just be hard to do. When we were all was choosing we all wanted Miss Scott copy. 


                                Deciding if using template and own and deciding on colors 
When we were sorted. We had to plan what we were doing on the paper the people in my group said to me 
"Hey Michaela could you do the big letters black" 
and I said 
"Okay sure then you guy can do the back ground all colorful" 
So we were all good about the choose so we were all sorted. 

                                                                        Patterns 

When we were choosing we had to put patterns on it so we all wanted polka dots on it. We all thought it would look really nice on the paper. I was happy because I got to have a choose where I wanted the potter dot and people all agreed were I wanted it and I said 
" Hey guys could we put the potter dot on the big black letters
and they said. 
" Yeah Michaela of course Michaela 
So I was so happy about that. 

        Personal best

While I was painting I was trying and aiming for my personal best of painting but it was just so frustrated because I wasn't doing it right. So I wanted a little break. After the little break I was all calm and relax so I went back and started painting again. 

Laminating and putting it on the wall

I few's day later we finished our art projects and I was so happy that we finished it. Miss Scott said 

" When you guys are finished I will laminating it and then I will put it on the wall.

When everybody finished and when Miss Scott finished laminating. She putted it on the wall and it look really nice on it.  

Conclusion: I really like the way that we work together for this art project
